Red chilli flakes (also called crushed red pepper) are made by crushing dried red chillies into small pieces, including seeds and skin. They have a spicy, pungent flavor and a bright red color. Commonly used in pizzas, pasta, curries, sauces, and snacks, they add heat, aroma, and vibrant flavor to food.
